Apartments Zora is a cozy, family-run vacation residency in the heart of Dalmatia. Located in the fishing village Okrug Gornji on the Ciovo peninsula we offer an ideal setup for a relaxing holiday with your family and friends. Our two houses can accommodate up to 32 persons in 8 newly adapted apartments. Even though there are two beaches available in walking distance, in House-1 and House-2 we also offer an outdoor heated swimming pool with (open/heated from 20.04.-15.10.) and spacious sea view sundeck. All apartments are air-conditioned, have complimentary Wi-Fi and offer dedicated parking and terraces with a stunning view on Mavarstica Bay.

Our House No. 2 doesn’t just have a terrace with a dreamlike sea view. Since 2016 it also has heated swimming pool with spacious sundeck. We offer five apartments for four persons each (AP-6 and AP-7 1st floor, AP-8 and AP-9 2nd floor and AP-5 pool side). All have an own terrace with panoramic sea view on Mavarcica bay, free Wi-Fi, A/C, a private dedicated parking place (24/7 CCTV) and access to the heated swimming pool.

Our story

It was 1979 when my parents decided to look for a quiet place for a weekend getaway. Living in the city of Split they where craving for untouched nature, beautiful beaches and crystal blue see. They found their dream location in Okrug Gonji, a small fishing village on the Dalmatian peninsula Ciovo. During the eighties we built our own paradise, far away from the everyday noise and stress of the city. As the years passed by we opened our home to guests, redecorating it to an apartment villa. Today, more than thirty years later, we have two villas with eight apartments, 38 beds and a swimming pool with a large sun deck. Nowadays it is not only our paradise any more, but the paradise of hundreds of families from all over the world that have joined us through the last decades. And while the apartments and facilities are constantly being renewed, some things always remain the same: the natural beauty of Okrug Gonji, and the fact that we, the Jelaska family, are personally looking after our guests to make their vacation a memorable one.

How to book ?

As a booking we request advance deposit in amount 25% of the rental price. Booking shall be effective once the advance has been received by us.

Do we have dedicated parking lot ?

For each apartment we have one shaded dedicated parking lot, max height clearance at the house - 1 is 2.0 m and for house - 2 is 2.1 m

Who will wait for us ?

Contact person at the spot to handover key and to provide you any might information for house - 1 is Zora Jelaska and for house - 2 is Suncica Jelaska, contact details provided at the voucher.

When is check in/out ?

Check in on arrival day is flexible in period 03 PM - 08 PM, if you expect any delay let us stay informed. Check out on departure day is set till 09 AM.

Do we need to pay damage deposit ?

Damage deposit we dont request at the arrival but guest are obligatory to take care for the property and not to cause any damage which will be charged.

How we can cancel reservation ?

If you need to cancel your Booking, please email us on booking@apartmani-zora.com . The cancellation policy described in voucher applies to your Booking .

Do we have any extra cost ?

We have provided our rental prices in total amount and you will not have any extra charges for our services.

Can we have visitors ?

Visitors are on request, stay is limited 1-2h max and visitors must leave facility latest till 9PM, visitors are not allowed to use swimming pool.

Swimming pool regulations ?

The swimming pool is open from 08:30am to 08:30pm-daily and open from 20.04.-15.10.- heated. Glass is not allowed at the pool as well jumping and running, pushing or any form of “rough play” within the vicinity of the pool and on the sundeck area are strictly prohibited. It is mandatory to shower before using the pool. Visitors are not allowed to use the pool and the sun deck. Children under 12 must be accompanied by their parents.

Stunning Location

Okrug is located on the western side of the island Ciovo. It is divided into Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji , two traditional Dalmatian villages. It is the centre of the Dalmatian micro region by its geographical position. It has a mild Mediterranean climate, dense subtropical and Mediterranean vegetation, an archipelago of picturesque little islands, uncountable little bays and beaches. Okrug is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Croatia with its 2670 sunny hours per year. There are a lot of restaurants and taverns in Okrug Gornji and Donji with a rich choice of original Dalmatian specialities. We offer our guests, beside a lot of sun and the clear sea also various recreation contents. The nearness of Trogir (2 km), which is under protection of UNESCO, offers the possibility to discover the 2800 year old centre. You can enjoy there also the night life. You can make excursions from Ciovo to the waterfalls of the river Krka (60 km), to Split (33 km) and to the Marian Shrine in Medugorje (100km). It is significant that the Split airport is only 8 km away from our village.
